Welcome to the "Czech Researcher's Mobility Portal "
The "Czech Researcherīs Mobility Portal" (CRMP) is related to the "European Researcherīs Mobility Portal" which is a result of a joint initiative of the European Commission and the 33 countries participating in the European Union's Sixth Framework Programme for Research.
The CRMP presents information on conditions of international mobility particularly to those researchers who do not live in the Czech Republic but want to carry out research there. Carrying out research activities in the Czech Republic may become increasingly interesting, for instance in the last two years two Czech research teams were awarded Descartes prizes by the European Commission.
This portal facilitates access to web sources informing on
- research fellowships and grants
- research opportunities and job offers
- legal, administrative and other practical aspects of living in the Czech Republic
Apart from that the CRMP is linked to a database of Czech research organisations that are interested in hosting foreign researchers financed by the European Commission. The CRMP is associated with the CZECHRTD.INFO portal which provides insight into the Czech RTD landscape. Both portals the CRMP and the CZECHRTD.INFO are operated by the Czech National Information Centre for European Research i.e. Technology Centre of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic.
